Notes: There are some who feel Joseph should have been a starter in Montreal last season. An underrated contributor.

2. Andrew Marshall, OTT
Age: 28
Starts in 2018: 0
Key stats: 12 special teams tackles
Notes: Solid special teams contributor.

3. Arnaud Gascon-Nadon, EDM
Age: 30
Starts in 2018: 0
Key stats: Two tackles
Notes: A late-season addition to the Eskimos this season. Once a starter in Ottawa, Gascon-Nadon’s stock has fallen fall in recent years.

Key stats: None
Notes: Retired following a great 2017 season due to a contract dispute with the Argonauts. He become a free agent on February 12 and it’s been rumoured that he’ll listen to offers.

2. Tristan Okpalaugo, WPG

Starts in 2018: 18
Key stats: 31 tackles & five sacks
Notes: Disappears for stretches but still a formidable pass rusher. Never regained his form from Toronto (2015-2016) in two seasons with the Bombers.

3. Ivan McLennan, B.C.

Key stats: 16 tackles, nine special teams tackles & two sacks
Notes: Rotational player in B.C. who’s still young and plays special teams.

4. Gabriel Knapton, MTL

Notes: Production dipped in 2017 and hasn’t recovered. Solid against the run but struggles to get after the passer.
