The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American offensive lineman Payton Collins to a one-year contract extension, the team announced on Tuesday.

The six-foot-seven, 301-pound blocker was a pending free agent. He is now tied to the team through 2027.

The 25-year-old made 17 starts at left tackle this season, his second with Saskatchewan. He made 12 starts at left tackle in 2025, when he helped the Roughriders win the 112th Grey Cup.
