Philpot recorded 124 catches for 1,809 yards and 13 touchdowns with the Montreal Alouettes and led the league in all three categories. The native of Delta, B.C. also set a new team record for receptions in a season and broke the CFL’s receiving yardage record among Canadian players.
Rourke completed 70.5 percent of his passes for 4,614 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions this season, going 9-6 as the starting quarterback of the B.C. Lions. He also rushed 31 times for 356 yards and three scores.
Most Outstanding Rookie: Tyler Kahmann, Parker McKenna, Major Williams
Kahmann caught 77 passes for 1,092 yards and eight touchdowns with the Toronto Argonauts over 18 regular-season games. The 26-year-old initially joined the team’s practice roster in 2025 but didn’t make his regular-season CFL debut until 2026.
McKenna played 18 regular-season games with the B.C. Lions and tallied 75 defensive tackles, six special teams tackles, four tackles for loss, three pass knockdowns, two forced fumbles, and one interception. He made 15 starts at weak-side linebacker.

Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman: Jarell Broxton, Nick Callender, Pier-Olivier Lestage
Broxton started 17 regular-season games for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at right tackle. The 33-year-old became one of the CFL’s highest-paid offensive linemen when he joined the team as a free agent in February following a five-year run with the B.C. Lions.
Callender made 12 starts at left tackle for the Montreal Alouettes before missing the next six games due to injury. The 32-year-old native of Berkeley, Calif. has earned three-straight All-East Division selections.
Lestage started 17 regular-season games for the Alouettes at left guard. The 29-year-old native of Saint-Eustache, Que. is in his fifth season with Montreal and was named All-East Division for the first time in 2025.
New this year, the CFL now has three finalists for each award regardless of division. In past years, each award had two finalists: one from the East Division and one from the West Division.
The finalists for Most Outstanding Player, Most Outstanding Defensive Player, and Most Outstanding Special Teams Player will be announced on Wednesday.
