The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will have Ontaria Wilson and Michael Griffin II back in the starting lineup when they visit the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday. The team released its official depth chart on Friday morning.

Wilson missed the team’s last two games due to a hand injury. He has caught 56 passes for 739 yards and five touchdowns over 12 regular-season games this year, ranking third on the team behind Tim White and Nic Demski.

The 27-year-old native of Ashburn, Ga. has made 148 receptions for 2,147 yards and 11 touchdowns over 36 career regular-season CFL games with the Blue Bombers.

In a corresponding move, Kenneth Womack has been demoted to the practice roster. The rookie played Winnipeg’s last two games but did not register a statistic.

This will mark the first time this season that Wilson, Tim White, Nic Demski, and Dorian Singer are all in the starting receiving corps together for the Blue Bombers this season.

Griffin II was the team’s day-one starter at strong-side linebacker but missed the last six games due to an ankle injury. The six-foot, 231-pound defender has tallied 35 defensive tackles, one special teams tackle, and one forced fumble this year.

The 28-year-old is in his fourth CFL season. Over 49 career regular-season games with the Blue Bombers and Calgary Stampeders, he has recorded 135 defensive tackles, 31 special teams tackles, one tackle for loss, four pass knockdowns, three sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown.

Canadian defender Jaylen Smith, who started in Griffin II’s place for the last six games, has been moved to the reserve roster. The Hamilton, Ont. native was listed as questionable for Saturday’s game due to a hip injury after being a non-participant in practice on Thursday.

The Blue Bombers have also added Global defensive lineman Thiadric Hansen and Canadian defensive back Ethan Stuart to the roster in depth roles.

Hansen recently rejoined the team’s practice roster as a free agent. The native of Flensburg, Germany was originally the second overall pick in the 2019 CFL Global Draft.

Over 69 career regular-season CFL games, the 33-year-old has recorded 22 defensive tackles, 40 special teams tackles, five sacks, and three forced fumbles with the Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts, winning three Grey Cups.

Stuart was a fourth-round pick in the 2026 CFL Draft out of McMaster University. The 24-year-old native of Oakville, Ont. has made two special teams tackles over six regular-season games this year.

In corresponding moves, Canadian receiver Gavin Cobb and American defensive lineman Matt Jaworski have come off the roster and been placed on the six-game injured list. Cobb did not appear on Winnipeg’s injury report this week, while Jaworski was unable to practice due to an elbow injury.

The last time the Blue Bombers played the Alouettes, they recorded a 44-28 upset win at Princess Auto Stadium in August. The teams also met in last year’s East Semi-Final, when Montreal won 42–33.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers (7-7) will visit the Montreal Alouettes (11-3) on Saturday, October 3 with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EDT. The Blue Bombers are coming off a tight loss to the Argonauts, while the Alouettes were on bye.

The game will be broadcast on TSN and RDS2 in Canada and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune-in on 680 CJOB in Winnipeg or TSN 690 (English) or 99.5 Montreal (French) in Montreal.
