The CFL scouting bureau has released their final prospect rankings for the 2017 CFL Draft with Mississippi State offensive lineman Justin Senior retaining the top spot.
The bottom of the list features five new faces as offensive lineman Brandon Schram, running back Johnny Augistine, defensive lineman Fabion Foote, defensive back Dondre Wright and defensive lineman Connor McGough all make their rankings debut. All five attended the CFL Combine in Regina at the end of March.
There are 17 universities represented on the list and two schools featuring multiple selections, including Calgary with three players and McMaster two two. Ten U SPORTS schools and seven NCAA schools are represented in the rankings.
The 2017 CFL Draft will take place on May 7 with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers holding the first overall pick (courtesy of a trade with Toronto.) The Saskatchewan Roughriders select second, followed by B.C. (via Montreal), Hamilton, Edmonton. The Bombers have a second first round selection at No. 6.
