The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have released 25 players ahead of the CFL’s mandatory cutdown deadline, including veteran offensive lineman Kendall Randolph.
Randolph has been with the Bombers since 2024, appearing in 24 games for the club. The Alabama product started in 23 of those contests, including all 18 last year, primarily playing right tackle. After the acquisition of Jarell Broxton this offseason, he was expected to compete for the job at left guard.
Also released by Winnipeg were American running back Stevie Rocker; Canadian receivers Joshua Jack, Thomas Desrosiers, Kolby Hurford, and Jackson Tachinski; American receivers TJ Davis, Jihad Marks, Jamoi Mayes, and Jayden Harrison; Canadian offensive lineman Iwinosa Uwubanmwen; American offensive linemen Sebastian Pares and Bucky Williams; Canadian defensive linemen Carter Hooper and Kaleb Mackie-McLeod; American defensive linemen Antoineo Harris, Jonah Pace, and Arnold Young; American linebackers Micah Cretsinger and Ja’Kobe Clinton; American defensive backs Deandre Lamont, Bryan Addison, and Warren Burrell; Canadian kicker Brady Lidster; and Global punter Keegan Andrews.
Lamont is the only other released player with prior CFL game experience, though he was entering his first season with Winnipeg. The 27-year-old had been a member of the Ottawa Redblacks since 2023 and appeared in 41 games with the club, making starts at multiple spots in the secondary. The native of Baytown, Tex., has made 151 defensive tackles, eight special teams tackles, and four interceptions in his CFL career.
The Bombers also announced the signing of Canadian receiver Daniel Oladejo, adding him to the practice roster. The 26-year-old was a second-round pick in the 2023 CFL Draft. He has since dressed for 18 regular-season CFL games with the Redblacks and Alouettes, making four catches for 38 yards.
Joining Oladejo on the practice roster to start the regular season are 11 other players: Canadian running back Matthew Peterson; American receivers Christian Fredricksen, Dorian Singer, and Kenneth Womack; American offensive linemen Hunter Poncius and Micah Mazzccua; Canadian defensive lineman Collin Kornelson; American defensive linemen David Reese and Michael Fletcher; Canadian linebacker Charles-Elliot Bouliane; and American defensive back Ridge Texada.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will play their first regular-season game against the Calgary Stampeders on Friday, June 5. The club finished fourth in the West Division standings in 2025 with a 10-8 record, qualifying for the playoffs as the crossover team before losing the East Semi-Final to the Montreal Alouettes.
