The Montreal Alouettes have released Canadian kicker Tyler Crapigna.
The 28-year-old was a fifth-round pick of the Calgary Stampeders in the 2014 CFL Draft out of McMaster University. He was traded to the Saskatchewan Roughriders the following season and appeared in three games with the team, connecting on all four of his field goal attempts.
The native of Nepean, Ont. dressed for 33 games with Saskatchewan over the following two seasons, connecting on 72-of-84 field goal attempts. He signed with Toronto as a free agent in May 2019 and ended up dressing for 13 games with the team, making 22-of-27 field goal attempts.
The Argonauts traded Crapigna to the Montreal Alouettes in February 2020 in exchange for American kicker/punter Boris Bede.
