DAZN hires Chris Streveler as CFL, NFL analyst

Chris Streveler has been hired by DAZN as a CFL and NFL analyst, creator, and on-air personality, the streaming service announced on Tuesday.

“DAZN is building something special for football fans,” Streveler said in a statement. “I’ve always loved connecting with people, telling stories, and bringing energy to the game. Joining DAZN feels like the perfect way to stay close to the sport I love and the fans who have supported me from day one.”

Starting immediately, Streveler will host QB POV, which will break down each NFL division from a quarterback’s perspective. His podcast, See It Like Strev, will also be made available on DAZN Canada.

In 2027, the retired quarterback will join the broadcast booth for CFL games on DAZN. As part of the league’s new broadcasting agreement, which was announced in May, DAZN will be the exclusive broadcaster of Saturday Night Football starting next season.

“He understands the pulse of Canadian football and the passion that drives its fans, and he has a rare ability to translate that into compelling storytelling. His presence enhances DAZN’s modern, creator‑led football ecosystem that serves fans across both the CFL and NFL. We are excited to welcome him to DAZN and to shape the future of football coverage together.”

Over 66 career regular-season CFL games, Streveler threw for 4,144 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 31 interceptions. He also rushed for 1,740 yards and 41 scores.

The 31-year-old native of Naperville, Ill. helped the Winnipeg Blue Bombers win the Grey Cup in 2019 and he twice led the CFL in rushing touchdowns.

Streveler also spent four seasons in the NFL as a member of the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets. He completed 27-of-40 pass attempts for 231 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, and rushed 16 times for 75 yards.
