Edmonton Elks’ roster unchanged for clash with Bombers

The Edmonton Elks will have the benefit of health when they face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday, as their roster remains intact from last week.

The Green and Gold have added no new players to the injured list and made no changes to their starting lineup. Strong-side linebacker Kenneth Logan Jr., who missed last week with a knee injury, remains on the one-game injured list, as does Canadian safety Royce Metchie, who practiced fully as he works his way back from a hamstring issue.

Receiver Joe Robustelli (hamstring), Global linebacker Eteva Mauga-Clements (clavicle), and Canadian defensive back Benjamin Sangmuah (knee) will stay on the six-game injured list despite practicing in varied capacities.

Canadian running back Isaiah Knight and receiver Zach Mathis are currently on the reserve roster.

The Edmonton Elks (7-3) will host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (5-4) at Commonwealth Stadium on Friday, August 21, with kickoff scheduled for 9:30 p.m. EDT. The Blue Bombers are coming off a 33-21 win over the Ottawa Redblacks, while the Elks blasted the Toronto Argonauts by a score of 42-12.

The weather forecast in Edmonton calls for 26 degrees and sun. The game will be broadcast on TSN in Canada, CBS Sports Network in the United States, and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune in on 680 CJOB in Winnipeg or 880 CHED in Edmonton.
