Canadian offensive lineman Jez Janvier performed at the recent pro day at the University of Southern Mississippi.

The six-foot-five, 312-pound blocker recorded a 5.31-second forty-yard dash, 5.31-second shuttle, 8.10-second three-cone drill, 22 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, a 28-inch vertical jump, and a nine-foot, four-inch broad jump.

Relative to the offensive linemen at the 2026 CFL Combine, Janvier would have finished second in the broad jump, tied for third in the vertical jump, fifth in the forty-yard dash, sixth in the bench press, and tied for sixth in the three-cone drill.

Janvier attended the 2026 CFL Combine (pictured) but participated only in the interviews and on-field drills, choosing to stick with his pro day testing numbers.

The native of Montreal, Que. transferred to Southern Mississippi for the 2025 season and dressed for four games in a depth role. He previously spent four years at Eastern Michigan University, where he split time between the offensive and defensive lines. His best season came in 2024 when he played 535 snaps at right guard.

Janvier was the No. 14-ranked prospect on the first edition of the 2026 CFL Draft scouting bureau rankings, though he didn’t make the second edition of the list. He has been projected as a third-round pick by 3DownNation.

Located in Hattiesburg, Miss., Southern Mississippi competes in the Sun Belt Conference of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).

The school’s alumni with CFL connections includes soon-to-be Canadian Football Hall of Fame defensive lineman Jearld Baylis, All-CFL offensive lineman Jason Jimenez, former Calgary Stampeders defensive lineman Tom Johnson, and Grey Cup champion defensive lineman Cordarro Law.

The 2026 CFL Draft is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
