The top-ranked receiver in the 2026 CFL Draft, Nick Cenacle, performed for scouts at the University of Hawaii’s pro day on Friday in Sacramento, Calif.

Cenacle, who measured in at over six-foot-one and 199 pounds, ran a hand-timed 4.72-second forty-yard dash with a 1.64-second ten-yard split. He was also clocked at 4.41 seconds in the short shuttle and 6.96 seconds in the three-cone, while posting a 31.5-inch vertical, nine-foot-10-inch broad jump, and 10 reps of 225 pounds on the bench.

Three CFL teams were reportedly on hand to watch Cenacle perform: the B.C. Lions, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. His results would have placed him middle of the pack amongst receivers at the 2025 CFL Combine in most testing categories, with his short shuttle and vertical jump ranking near the bottom.

Cenacle battled knee injuries during his senior season with the Rainbow Warriors in 2025. He was limited to eight games, catching 28 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns.

The native of Montreal, Que., has been a four-year contributor in Hawaii’s receiving corps, peaking in 2024 when he led the team in receptions, yardage, and touchdowns. Through 44 career games, he has amassed 122 catches for 1,295 yards and nine touchdowns.

Prior to his time on the Big Island, Cenacle helped Vanier College to a Bol D’Or title as the top CEGEP program in Quebec and was named the province’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2021. He originally committed to McGill University before landing a late offer from the Bows.

Cenacle was the 11th-ranked prospect on the CFL’s winter Scouting Bureau list, dropping from fourth overall on the preseason rankings. In 3DownNation‘s first 2026 CFL Mock Draft, he was listed as a late first-round pick.

The 2026 CFL Draft is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
