The University of Waterloo will host the U Sports East-West Bowl for the third straight year.

The year’s event is set for Saturday, May 9 at 12:30 p.m. EDT at Warrior Field. It will feature a little over 100 prospects who are eligible for the 2027 CFL Draft, including a minimum of three from each of the 27 U Sports football programs across the country.

A virtual coaches clinic will take place on April 11 to 12, while a high school showcase will occur on May 8 at 5:00 p.m. EDT to give players exposure to U Sports programs.

41 players who participated in the 2024 U Sports East-West Bowl were selected in the 2025 CFL Draft. Of the 106 players from last year’s U Sports East Bowl, 76 were invited to this year’s CFL Combine or CFL Invitational Combine.

The roster for this year’s U Sports East-West Bowl has yet to be announced.

Those who will present in the virtual coaches clinic include Winnipeg Blue Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea, recently-retired Western Mustangs head coach Greg Marshall, McMaster Marauders head coach Stefan Ptaszek, and many more.
