Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Trevor Harris took a low shot to his leg from B.C. Lions defensive end Odell Willis.

Willis was initially given a 15-yard roughing the passer penalty, but upon review the call was overturned.

Harris completed 10-of-14 passes for 89 yards and rushed three times for six yards and one touchdown as the Eskimos led 16-3 at halftime.

“Just discussed it with the doctors and I just kept pressing to go back out there and always want to finish the game if you can. So we’ll take a look at it tomorrow and see what it’s like,” Harris told TSN after the game.

After the break, Harris came back on the field to lead Edmonton’s offence. He promptly connected with Natey Adjei for a 77-yard touchdown.

And on the next Eskimos drive, Harris hit DaVaris Daniels for a 28-yard major on a deep ball.

Harris looked just fine after avoiding major injury making good on 22-of-28 balls for 276 yards and two touchdowns through the air while leading Edmonton to a convincing victory.
