The six-foot, 200-pound defender spent his first five seasons of college football at Oregon State University, where he recorded 150 tackles, three interceptions, 10 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 50 games.

In a corresponding move, the team also released American offensive lineman Darius Washington.

The 25-year-old was signed to the practice roster in June after his release by the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He played four regular-season games with the Riders in 2025, making two starts at left tackle, one start at right tackle, and one start at left guard. He was on the practice roster when the team won the 112th Grey Cup at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg.

The Toronto Argonauts (4-4) will return to action on Saturday, August 15, when they visit the Edmonton Elks (6-3). Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m. EDT at Commonwealth Stadium.
