The Montreal Alouettes have listed Canadian defensive back Marc-Antoine Dequoy in the starting lineup when they take on the Toronto Argonauts on Thursday. He is considered a game-time decision.

The 29-year-old native of Montreal, Que. didn’t practice this week due to a shoulder injury he sustained during last week’s win over the Calgary Stampeders and was officially listed as doubtful. He has made 12 tackles, one interception, and one forced fumble through five starts at safety this season.

In total, the former second-round pick of the Université de Montréal has recorded 108 defensive tackles, 12 special teams tackles, 10 interceptions, five forced fumbles, and two touchdowns over 48 career games with the Alouettes. He was named a CFL all-star last season.

Montreal also moved Canadian kicker David Côté to the six-game injured list after he was a late scratch last week due to a quad injury. José Maltos, who went three-for-three on field goal attempts against Calgary, will play in his place.

The Alouettes are 5-0 for the first time since 2006 when the club opened the season with seven consecutive victories. This marks the second of three consecutive home games for the team, which are broken up by an upcoming bye in Week 7.

Montreal beat the Argonauts in Week 4 by a score of 30-20 as Cody Fajardo threw for 284 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Caleb Evans also threw a touchdown pass on a trick play, hitting Cole Spieker for a 44-yard score. The Argos struggled with discipline in the loss, taking 11 penalties for 120 yards.

Toronto will be without former CFL all-star defensive lineman Jake Ceresna this week as he’s out with a shoulder injury. The team has also demoted boundary halfback Mason Pierce to the practice roster.

The Montreal Alouettes (5-0) will host the Toronto Argonauts (2-2) at Percival Molson Stadium on Thursday, July 11 with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT.
