Redblacks all-star receiver Greg Ellingson suffers injury against Riders

Ottawa’s leading pass catcher Greg Ellingson has been injured in the East semifinal.

The Redblacks receiver suffered a non-contact setback in the first half and his status for the final 30 minutes is up in the air.

The 28-year-old played in all 18 regular season games for Ottawa making 96 catches for 1,459 yards and 12 touchdowns, all career single-season bests. He left the East semi without registering a reception in the first half but returned in the second to grab four passes for 52 yards in Ottawa’s season-ending loss.
