No June swoon for these Ticats. Jones a viable candidate for coach of the year if winning trend continues.

  2. Right on !!

  3. Keep sticking to interviews like this Drew this is what the fans want

  4. I got a feeling that the Cats won’t lose their next game by 59 points to Calgary. And if things go as well as tonight’s game, a win is possible.

    • I think the Stumps are in for a shock. Little Bo Peep better have his head on a swivel because QB Killer Coleman and his merry band of men will be gunning for him!

  5. Listening to Green you would think he’s been around forever and not just 2 games with the TC’s. This guy reminds me of Ronald Williams when he takes off – N-S, angry, and with a purpose.

  6. Six post game interviews! Great job Drew, thanks for this, especially Filer sipping on a cold one (good product placement).
On another note, was Drew the only media member looking to interview the coach post-game? That should send a message to the CFL – where is the media coverage we need to promote our wonderful game?

Love how the coach calls the players “the kids”, because that’s what most of them are, just kids in their twenties who have to focus and believe in what they’re doing. Under coach Jones, they do believe in themselves as this is pretty much the same group of guys who started 0-8.

A coach who is straight with his answers – instead of “we’ll have to see what the doctors say tomorrow”, the pat answer we were used to, June tells us what we all know, that Sergio could be done for the season (which is very unfortunate, given the season he was having).

Great interview with Jeremiah. He’s becoming a good QB both on and off the field. Great comment by Sutor on TSN during the game about the importance of having an experienced QB coach to review things with him immediately on the sidelines during the game. Unfortunately, Kent was trying to do 4 or 5 jobs at the same time -not sure why.

Love the meaning of this win given by Courtney: “We’re still alive”. You bet we are – Go Lions!

Drew – patronizing opening comment to your question to Green. Come on man..

  8. The 2 best teams Winnipeg and Calgary both have strong running games – nice to see Ticats follow the pattern. Bodes well for a great game next week.

  9. Nice win….wait let me refrase that….Great win for the cats! Hopefully they can find a good replacment for there kicker who’s been a bright spot for them so far this year. They should be 5-9 if it wasn’t for the refs and cfl trying to save football in Toronto!!! Sorry 3down nation had to say it! GO CATS and catch the Redblacks!!!
