Five-star Canadian RB David Gabriel Georges commits to Tennessee

David Gabriel Georges has officially committed to the University of Tennessee, he announced on Wednesday.

The native of Terrebonne, Que. moved from his hometown to the United States for his sophomore year of high school, attending Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The six-foot, 205-pound ball-carrier has since rushed for 2,852 yards and 41 touchdowns, establishing himself as one of the top prospects in the country.

The 18-year-old is the No. 12-ranked recruit in the 2027 class, per 247 Sports. He is also the No. 2-ranked running back behind only McKeesport Area High School’s Kemon Spell, who has committed to the University of Georgia.

Georges reportedly received over 30 scholarship offers with Tennessee, Ohio State, and Ole Miss reportedly being the three finalists for his services.

Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Notre Dame, Texas, USC, and Vanderbilt were among the other schools to tender offers.
