The Edmonton Elks have released American receiver Binjimen Victor.
The 29-year-old made 12 starts with the Elks in 2025, making 32 receptions for 331 yards and one touchdown.
The six-foot-four, 200-pound target joined the team as a free agent in 2025 after stints with the New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, and Birmingham Stallions.

The team also established a 12-man practice roster, including American running back ShunDerrick Powell, Canadian fullback Bradley Hladik, American receiver O.J. Hiliare, American offensive lineman Cameron Carter, Canadian offensive lineman Chris Pashula Canadian defensive lineman Francis Bemiy, Global defensive lineman Richard Jibunor, American defensive lineman Gavin Meyer, and American defensive backs Jaaron Joseph, Terez Reid, and Ladarius Tennison, and Global kicker Jesus Gomez.
The Elks have also place Canadian receiver Eloa Latendresse-Regimbald and Canadian linebacker Olivier Muembi on the retired list.
The Edmonton Elks opened training camp on May 10. Edmonton won 34-16 in its first preseason game against the B.C. Lions, then lost 21-18 to the Calgary Stampeders in their second preseason game. Final roster cuts were due on Saturday, May 30. The team will play its first regular-season game against the Ottawa Redblacks on Saturday, June 6.
Calgary recently selected Rutgers linebacker Dariel Djabome with their first-round pick in the 2026 CFL Draft, adding a key piece to pair with fellow Canadian linebacker Joel Dublanko. The team’s other major offseason additions include receiver Austin Mack, offensive lineman Coulter Woodmansey, and defensive lineman Malik Carney.
In 2025, the Elks finished fifth in the West Division standings with a 7-11 record, missing the playoffs for the fifth straight season.
