All nine CFL teams have unveiled ten players from their confidential negotiation lists.
The Toronto Argonauts hold the rights to longtime NFL quarterback Trace McSorley, who is currently a free agent. The 29-year-old was a sixth-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2019 out of Penn State and has since been a member of the Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Washington Commanders.
Frank Gore Jr., the son of the legendary NFL running back, is on Montreal’s negotiation list. The 22-year-old native of Miami, Fla. went unselected in the 2024 NFL Draft and is currently on the practice roster with the Buffalo Bills. Gore Jr. rushed for 4,022 yards and 26 touchdowns during his collegiate career at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Other notable names include former TCU quarterback Max Duggan (Toronto), former NFL quarterback Kellen Mond (Saskatchewan), free agent receiver Samson Nacua (Calgary), who is the younger brother of Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua, and Malik Cunningham (Edmonton), who converted from quarterback to receiver at the professional level and is currently with the Baltimore Ravens.

League by-laws state that teams can claim exclusive CFL rights for up to 45 players by placing them on their negotiation lists. Players can be added, removed or traded from the lists at any time.
Current CFL players who have previously been revealed as part of team negotiation lists include quarterbacks Chad Kelly, Jake Maier, and Dustin Crum; receivers Lucky Whitehead, Tim White, and Tevin Jones; defensive back Deatrick Nichols, running back Jamal Morrow, and returner Javon Leake.
