Dylan Wynn will make his debut with the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday when his team hosts the Ottawa Redblacks.
The six-foot-two, 290-pound defender signed with Montreal as a free agent following a four-year run in Hamilton during which he was named a CFL all-star in 2019. The three-time East Division all-star made 173 defensive tackles and 29 sacks over 77 career games as a member of the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Wynn, who missed Montreal’s first two games due to a hamstring injury, is listed as the starter at nose tackle over veteran Derek Wiggan, who started the first two games of the season.
Reggie White Jr., who was activated from the six-game injured list last week, will also make his first start of the season at boundary slotback.
The 28-year-old native of Randallstown, Md. caught 53 passes for 722 yards and two touchdowns over 15 games with the Alouettes in 2022 before suffering a season-ending knee injury. White Jr. tore his ACL, LCL, and PCL in his right knee, causing him to miss the entire 2023 season.
Titus Wall, who was Calgary’s starting strong-side linebacker in each of the past two seasons, will also make his Alouettes debut after signing with the team this past week.

Coming off the roster this week are receiver Jose Barbon, who is now on the practice roster, defensive lineman Antonio Moultrie, who has been moved to the one-game injured list, and defensive back Myles Brooks, who was cut.
The Alouettes will unveil their Grey Cup banner on Thursday night along with the new video screen at Percival Molson Stadium. This marks the club’s first home game since upsetting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 110th Grey Cup at Tim Hortons Field.
The Montreal Alouettes (2-0) will host the Ottawa Redblacks (1-0) on Thursday, June 20 with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT.
