The Montreal Alouettes have officially signed American receiver Tevin Jones.

The six-foot-two, 225-pound target caught 65 passes for 882 yards and three touchdowns this past season as a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He initially joined the team in 2021 but was released prior to the start of training camp to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 31-year-old native of Amory, Miss. rejoined the Riders in 2022 and dressed for 31 games over two seasons with the club, making 85 catches for 1,147 yards and six touchdowns.

Jones went unselected in the 2016 NFL Draft before stints with the Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Dallas Cowboys. He dressed for five games with the Steelers in 2019, making four catches for 61 yards.

The Alouettes will open the 2024 season on June 6 when they visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Princess Auto Stadium.
