The Montreal Alouettes have signed American defensive back Quindarious ‘Smoke’ Monday.
The six-foot-two, 207-pound defender signed with the New Orleans Saints after going unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft. He suffered a torn ACL during training camp and spent the season on injured reserved before being released in August 2023.
The Atlanta native worked out for the Green Bay Packers in October 2023 but didn’t sign a contract with the team.
The Auburn product recorded 105 total tackles, six sacks, five interceptions, eight pass knockdowns, and one forced fumble over 48 collegiate games as a member of the Tigers.
He reportedly ran a 4.52-second forty-yard dash at Auburn’s pro day in 2022.
