It didn’t take Canadian linebacker Terrence Ganyi much time to find a new home, as he signed with the Calgary Stampeders on Monday.
The six-foot, 218-pound defender dressed for 36 regular-season games over three seasons with the B.C. Lions, making 15 special teams tackles. He was cut by the team on Thursday.
The 27-year-old native of Montreal was a sixth-round pick in the 2024 CFL Draft out of the University of Maine. He spent two seasons with the Black Bears, recording 12 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss.

Ganyi previously played at the University of Connecticut, where he made 13 tackles and one kickoff return for five yards.
The Calgary Stampeders (1-2) will host the Toronto Argonauts (2-1) at McMahon Stadium on Thursday, July 2 with kickoff scheduled for 9:00 p.m. EDT.
