The Edmonton Elks have brought back American linebacker Jadon Pearson, placing him on the practice roster. The team made the announcement on Monday.
The six-foot-one, 222-pound defender attended training camp with the team and dressed for both preseason games. He was released amid final roster cuts.
The 25-year-old native of Gilbert, Ariz. finished his collegiate career at Fresno State University in 2025, where he made 106 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, three pass knockdowns, one forced fumble, and 0.5 sacks.

Pearson previously played at Utah State, Utah, Reedley College, and Air Force.
