The Saskatchewan Roughriders are entering the 2026 CFL season iced out and in style.
On Sunday night, the franchise presented players, coaches, and staff with their official 112th Grey Cup championship ring at a special ceremony in Regina. The personalized, diamond-encrusted pieces were crafted by Baron Championship Rings based on the designs of a five-person committee consisting of quarterback Trevor Harris, linebacker Jameer Thurman, long snapper Jorgen Hus, head coach Corey Mace, and general manager Jeremy O’Day.

The face of each ring features the Riders’ primary logo overlaid on the Grey Cup and surrounded by 14 green baguette stones in a football shape, representing each victory throughout the championship season. Five accent stones on the Grey Cup — four at the base and one on the chalice — symbolize the five championships in franchise history.
Once unclasped, the ring opens to reveal a replica of Mosaic Stadium inside the base and an authentic piece of the Grey Cup game ball stored on the underside of the lide. The leather has been precision laser-engraved with tick marks like those that the team burnt into the wooden beam in the tunnel at Mosaic after every victory, and is surrounded by the year of every Grey Cup victory.
Inside the band, the phrase “It’s our time,” which was made iconic by Harris, is engraved along with the final score. “Rider Nation” is written in green on the underside of the band as a testament to the importance of the team’s rabid fan base.

Saskatchewan defeated the Montreal Alouettes in the 112th Grey Cup at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg by a score of 25-17. Harris was named Most Valuable Player after he completed 23-of-27 pass attempts for 302 yards. Samuel Emilus was named Most Valuable Canadian after he made 10 catches for 108 yards.
The Riders are on a bye in Week 1 and will play their first regular-season game of 2026 against the B.C. Lions on Saturday, June 13.
