The Ottawa Redblacks have announced their operations staff for 2025, including veteran personnel man Drew Allemang as a senior personnel executive.
The native of Hamilton, Ont. spent the past 17 years with the Tiger-Cats after first being hired as an assistant equipment manager. He steadily moved up the team’s ranks, holding titles including coordinator of football operations, player development coordinator, head Canadian scout, director of scouting, assistant general manager, and co-manager of football operations. In 2024, Allemang served as Hamilton’s assistant general manager and director of Canadian Scouting.

The rest of Ottawa’s staff has remained consistent from last year. Shawn Burke is entering his fourth season as general manager and he will be surrounded by longtime assistant general manager Jeremy Snyder, director of pro personnel Brendan Taman, director of Canadian scouting and football analytics Chad Hudson, assistant director of U.S. scouting and football operations Philippe Moreau, and director of football operations Joe Panessidi.
Drew McCormick has remained Ottawa’s head equipment manager and will be assisted by Noah Schlingmeier. Jean-Baptiste Laporte is the head athletic therapist of players health and performance and will be assisted by Austin Randall, Laura Ingriselli, and Melanie Geissberger.
Erin Craig is entering her second year as the strength and conditioning coach of the Redblacks, while Braun Ghellar is the video coordinator and Matthew Babion is the assistant video coordinator.
The Redblacks will open the preseason against the Montreal Alouettes on Saturday, May 24.
