The Calgary Stampeders have officially signed Canadian defensive back Adrian Greene. 3DownNation reported the agreement last week during the CFL’s free-agent negotiation window.

The 25-year-old native of Toronto, Ont. dressed for 16 games with the B.C. Lions this past season, recording 26 defensive tackles, five special teams tackles, three interceptions, one forced fumble, and one blocked punt. He started 14 games, including 10 at safety and four at field-side halfback.

Greene was originally a fourth-round pick of the 2022 CFL Draft out of Saint Mary’s University. He has made 42 defensive tackles, 18 special teams tackles, three interceptions, one forced fumble, and one blocked punt over 36 career CFL games.
