The B.C. Lions have signed Canadian linebacker Adam Konar.
The six-foot-one, 225-pound native of Vancouver, B.C. played 17 games with the Calgary Stampeders last season, recording three defensive tackles and seven special teams tackles.
The 31-year-old was originally a third-round pick in the 2015 CFL Draft out of the University of Calgary by the Edmonton Elks. He played four seasons with the team before joining the Lions as a free agent in 2019.
Konar spent two seasons in B.C. before returning to Edmonton as a free agent in 2022. After a two-year run with the Elks, he signed with the Stampeders in 2024.
In total, Konar has played 118 regular-season CFL games and made 224 defensive tackles, 44 special teams tackles, five sacks, four interceptions, and four forced fumbles.
