Former CFL offensive lineman Justin Renfrow is set to feature on an episode of Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, he announced on social media.
The newly-premiered season titled “Kitchen Nightmares: Road to Super Bowl LIX” takes on a Super Bowl-themed spin to the long-running cooking show. Restaurants in need of Ramsay’s help in New Orleans, La., prepare for the big game taking place on Feb. 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome. The second half of the season will also feature restaurants in Houston and Austin, Texas.
Renfrow indicated he would appear on the show’s airing on Feb. 18.
Some familiar faces in the football world will join Renfrow on the show as restaurant diners, including New Orleans Saints legends Eddie Kennison and Craig Robertson, current Saints defensive end Cam Jordan, and former Washington Commanders player Robert Royal.
Also featuring on the show is former Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma, whom Ramsay revealed appears as a mentor to a local restaurant in crisis.
Renfrow appeared in 27 games across his five-year CFL career as a member of the Calgary Stampeders (2017-2019), B.C. Lions (2019), and Edmonton Elks (2021).
Before coming north of the border, the 35-year-old native of Philadelphia, Pa. native was a member of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, and Buffalo Bills.
