The B.C. Lions have added three Americans to their training camp roster, signing receivers Ed Lee and Jaivian Lofton, and defensive back Wyryor Noil.
Lee returns to the Lions after attending training camp with the team last season and made one pre-season appearance in Calgary, recording a team-high 52 yards on four catches. Lee previously attended training camp with the New England Patriots and finished that season in the XFL with Orlando.
In 37 games at the University of Rhode Island, Lee recorded 86 receptions for 1,262 yards and eight touchdowns. As a senior in 2022, he earned second-team All-CAA honours as a receiver and third-team as a punt returner after recording 158 yards on 14 returns.
Lofton played his senior season at Utah Tech in 2024, producing 15 catches for 204 yards and two touchdowns. The six-foot-one, 185-pound target transferred from Liberty University, where he recorded 16 receptions for 204 yards and four majors across 17 games. He attended Chaffey College for his first two seasons and hauled in 72 receptions for 1,584 yards and 20 touchdowns in 21 appearances.
Noil finished his college career at Central Missouri, recording 34 total tackles, five tackles for a loss, 23 pass breakups, six interceptions and one fumble recovery in 13 games to earn first-team All-American honours from the Associated Press. He transferred from Idaho for his final season, having tallied 52 tackles, five tackles for a loss, six pass breakups and one interception in 34 games with the Vandals.
