The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have sold out their regular season finale against the Toronto Argonauts, which means they will lead the CFL in attendance for the third straight season.
The Blue Bombers will end the year with an average attendance figure of 31,196, finishing the regular season with four straight sell-outs. This is unofficially the highest attendance figure in franchise history.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders currently sit second with an average attendance figure of 28,252 followed by the B.C. Lions at 26,689. The latter figure includes B.C.’s home game in Victoria where attendance at Royal Athletic Park reached a capacity of 14,727. If only games in Vancouver are counted, the team’s average attendance sits at 28,398, buoyed by a massive season-opening crowd of 53,788.
The Blue Bombers led the CFL in attendance for the first time in franchise history in 2022, bringing in 28,652 fans per game. The team led the league in attendance again in 2023 with a figure of 30,449.
Princess Auto Stadium has the fifth-highest capacity among CFL stadiums at 32,343.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers (10-6) will host the Toronto Argonauts (8-7) on Friday, Oct. 11 with kickoff slated for 8:30 p.m. EDT.
