Ken Miller has passed away at age 82 after a battle with cancer.
He was the Saskatchewan Roughriders offensive coordinator under head coach Kent Austin when the team won the 95th Grey Cup in 2007.
Miller was head coach and vice president of football operations for the Riders between 2008 and 2010, leading Saskatchewan to two Grey Cup appearances in 2009 and 2010, working closely with quarterback Darian Durant.
In August 2011, Miller returned as head coach with the Roughriders. He produced a 36-27-1 win-loss-tie record as a CFL bench boss including a 3-3 mark in the playoffs.
The franchise posted a statement on Twitter:
On behalf of Rider Nation we send our love and condolences to his wife Maureen, his family, friends and loved ones and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Miller started his CFL coaching career with the Toronto Argonauts as a quarterbacks, offensive line and defensive line coach from 2002-2006. Prior to coming north of the border, he was a coach with the University of Redlands from 1977-2000.
