The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American linebacker Aubrey Miller Jr. and American offensive lineman Jean Delance.

Miller Jr. played five games with the Edmonton Elks earlier this season, making four special teams tackles. He signed with the Miami Dolphins after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft and made two tackles during the preseason but was released following training camp.

The six-foot-two, 225-pound native of Memphis, Tenn. played 26 collegiate games at Jackson State University and made 117 tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, and six forced fumbles. He was named a first-team FCS All-American as a senior by Athlon Sports.

Delance has had stints with several professional teams, including the Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, D.C. Defenders, and B.C. Lions. He has yet to dress for a regular season NFL or CFL game.

The six-foot-five, 305-pound native of Eastman, Ga. played collegiately at the University of Florida where he played 41 games, starting 37 at right tackle. He helped Heisman Trophy finalist Kyle Trask lead the nation in passing yards per game in 2020 before earning an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl as a senior in 2021.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders (5-3-1) will host the Montreal Alouettes (8-1) on Friday, Aug. 16 with kickoff slated for 9:00 p.m. EDT.
