The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian offensive lineman Braydon Noll and American defensive lineman Eric Black.

Noll was a fourth-round pick of the Toronto Argonauts in the 2022 CFL Draft out of Wilfrid Laurier University. He spent most of his tenure with the team in a depth role, playing one game as a rookie in 2022 and three in 2023.

The six-foot-five, 297-pound native of Orangeville, Ont. played all five positions along the offensive line during his collegiate career with the Golden Hawks. He was initially recruited as a defensive lineman before switching over to the offensive side of the ball in his second U Sports season.

Black started the season with the Edmonton Elks and dressed for two regular season games but didn’t register any statistics.

The six-foot-four, 247-pound native of Rochester, N.Y. finished his collegiate career at Stony Brook University in Long Island, N.Y. where he recorded 19 tackles, seven tackles for loss, five sacks, four pass knockdowns, and one forced fumble. He participated in rookie minicamp with the New York Giants after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Black started his collegiate career at the University at Buffalo as a walk-on, making 36 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries over 29 games with the Bulls.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders (5-3) will visit the Ottawa Redblacks (5-2) on Thursday, Aug. 8 with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT.
