The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American wide receiver Braydon Johnson and Global punter Josh Couch.
Johnson had a stint with the Buffalo Bills after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft, though he didn’t dress for any regular season games with the team.
The six-foot, 195-pound native of Arlington, Texas played five seasons at the University of Oklahoma State, catching 79 passes for 1,298 yards and eight touchdowns. He also returned 24 kicks for 431 yards.
Johnson recorded an unofficial forty-yard dash of 4.38 seconds at Oklahoma State’s pro day last year.

The Riders will open their 2024 regular season on Saturday, June 8 when they visit the Edmonton Elks at Commonwealth Stadium.
