Canadian quarterback Christian Veilleux has entered the transfer portal after a one-year stint at the University of Pittsburgh.

The Ottawa native dressed for seven games with the Panthers this past season, making five starts and completing 51.1 percent of his passes for 1,179 yards, seven touchdowns, and eight interceptions to lead the team in each category. Pittsburgh finished the year with a 3-9 record, finishing near the bottom of the ACC standings.

The six-foot-four, 215-pound passer originally committed to Penn State as a four-star recruit after graduating from Bullis School, a preparatory school located in Potomac, Md. He threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns over two seasons with the Nittany Lions before entering the transfer portal following the 2022 season.

The 21-year-old has two more years of collegiate eligibility. He is on pace to be eligible for the 2026 NFL Draft and 2026 CFL Draft.
