McGill defensive back Ben Labrosse has won the broad jump at the 2024 at a distance of 133.75 inches.

Labrosse began his collegiate career at Syracuse University in 2020, posting 14 tackles in 10 games over parts of two seasons. The native of Greenfield Park, Que. transferred to McGill in 2022 and was named a first-team All-Canadian after collecting 32 tackles and three interceptions in eight games. The six-foot, 189-pound cornerback did not play last season due to academic issues.

UConn receiver Kevens Clercius finished second in the event with a mark of 129.25 inches, followed by Regina receiver D’Sean Mimbs at 127.75 inches, and both Manitoba receiver A.K. Gassama and Wilfrid Laurier defensive end Luke Brubacher at 126 inches.

The all-time broad jump record for the CFL Combine was set by Manitoba receiver Shai Ross in 2019 at 137.5 inches, followed by Carleton defensive back Jacob Dearborn in 2019 (132.75), Western receiver Shaquille Johnson in 2016 (132), and Wilfrid Laurier defensive back Chris Ackie in 2015 (131.5).

The top performer at the 2023 CFL Combine in Edmonton among Canadian players was Alberta defensive back Jake Taylor (131 inches), who was drafted in the second round by the Edmonton Elks.
