McGill defensive back Ben Labrosse and Delaware State running back Michael Chris-Ike have tied for the top spot in the forty-yard dash at the 2024 CFL Combine, clocking in at 4.51 seconds.
Labrosse began his collegiate career at Syracuse University in 2020, posting 14 tackles in 10 games over parts of two seasons. The native of Greenfield Park, Que. transferred to McGill in 2022 and was named a first-team All-Canadian after collecting 32 tackles and three interceptions in eight games. The six-foot, 189-pound cornerback did not play last season due to academic issues.
Chris-Ike hails from Hamilton, Ont. but committed to the Hornets in 2018, competing at the FCS level. The six-foot-one, 225-pound back carried 162 times for 754 yards and five touchdowns in 27 career games, adding 10 special teams tackles.
Laval receiver Frédérik Antoine recorded the third-fastest time at 4.53, while Hillsdale College running back Michael Herzog posted 5.55 and Bemidji State receiver Dhel Duncan-Busby ran 4.56.
