Canadian free agent defensive back Katley Joseph will participate in Syracuse University’s upcoming pro day.

The five-foot-ten, 185-pound cornerback has spent the past two seasons at the University of Saskatchewan where he was a two-time Canada West all-star and one-time first-team U Sports All-Canadian. He made 52 total tackles, two tackles for loss, 16 pass knockdowns, four interceptions, and two forced fumbles over 19 career games with the Huskies, helping them reach the Vanier Cup in 2022.

Joseph started his collegiate career at the University of Maine in 2018 where he started 17 games over his first two seasons south of the border. The 2020 season was moved to the spring of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, though Joseph was unable to play due to a torn meniscus. He finished his tenure with the Black Bears with 54 total tackles, 14 pass deflections, and one interception.

The Ottawa native went unselected in the 2022 CFL Draft but used his remaining collegiate eligibility to earn a Master’s degree in education from Saskatchewan.

Joseph indicated to 3DownNation that he’s hoping to garner NFL interest following his pro day performance. He’s currently on the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ negotiation list, giving the Green and White his exclusive CFL rights.

Syracuse’s pro day is scheduled for Monday, March 18.
