Official: Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-sign Terry Godwin II

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have officially re-signed receiver Terry Godwin II.

The 27-year-old made 68 receptions for 864 yards and six touchdowns in 2023, his first as a regular starter for the Ticats.

The University of Georgia product was selected in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers and earned $912,424 USD while playing for the Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans.

The five-foot-eleven, 185-pound target played 54 games in the Southeastern Conference with the Bulldogs from 2015 to 2019. During his NCAA career, he had 133 receptions for 1,788 yards and 11 touchdowns. He finished ranking 11th in school history in career receptions and 13th in receiving yards.

The Ticats will open their 2024 regular season by visiting the Calgary Stampeders at McMahon Stadium on Friday, June 7.
