The Toronto Argonauts have re-signed Canadian receiver Richie Sindani, who was scheduled to become a free agent next month.
The 28-year-old joined the team late last season and dressed for three games, making eight receptions for 90 yards.
Sindani played 60 games over four seasons with the Stamps from 2018 to 2022, making 92 catches for 986 yards and three touchdowns. He spent time with the New Orleans Breakers of the USFL and Hamilton Tiger-Cats during 2023, making 12 grabs for 90 yards with the Ticats.
The six-foot-two, 220-pound native of Regina was originally selected by the Calgary Stampeders in the eighth round of the 2017 CFL Draft. He spent his collegiate career at the University of Regina, the University of Calgary, and with the Calgary Colts of the Canadian Junior Football League.
Sindani won a Grey Cup with the Stampeders during the 2022 season.
