The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed Canadian kicker Keiran Burnham.
The 28-year-old was originally selected by the Calgary Stampeders in the seventh round of the 2020 CFL Draft out of St. Francis Xavier. He has spent the past three years with the Stamps and B.C. Lions, though he has yet to record any regular season statistics.
The native of Cambridge, Ont. punted 234 times and made 29-of-37 field goal attempts at the U Sports level with the X-Men. He also was named a second-team U Sports All-Canadian at punter in 2019.
The Ticats also signed American defensive backs Arquon Bush and Maxwell Worship.
Bush went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft but signed with the Seattle Seahawks shortly thereafter. He was released by the team near the end of training camp.
The 23-year-old made 115 total tackles, four tackles for loss, nine interceptions, 32 pass knockdowns, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and two blocked kicks over 49 games at the University of Cincinnati.
Worship attended rookie minicamp with the Tennessee Titans after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft. The 24-year-old from Coral Springs, Fla. made 153 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and eight pass knockdowns over 54 games at Vanderbilt University.
