Canadian offensive lineman Isaiah Adams has accepted an invitation to the 2024 Senior Bowl.

The six-foot-five, 320-pound blocker has spent the last two seasons at the University of Illinois after he began his collegiate career at Wilfrid Laurier University.

The Ajax, Ontario native earned third-team All-Big Ten honours in 2022 and was All-Big Ten honourable mention in 2023. Adams was named a team captain for the Fighting Illini in 2023 and started 25 consecutive games for the program between 2022 and 2023.

He was ranked as the No. 5 prospect according to the CFL Scouting Bureau list that was released in August and remains one of the most highly touted prospects available in the 2024 CFL Draft.

Four Canadians participated in the Senior Bowl last year, all of whom were selected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Matthew Bergeron was a second-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons, Tavius Robinson was a fourth-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens while twin brothers Sydney and Chase Brown went in the third and fifth rounds to the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals, respectively.

This marks the second consecutive year that a former U Sports player has been selected to participate in the Senior Bowl after Robinson, who began his collegiate career at the University of Guelph before transferring to the University of Mississippi, attended last year’s event.
