The Canadian Football League has unveiled its official list of pending free agents heading into the 2024 offseason as well as the start time for free agency.

Players will have until 12:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, Feb. 13 to re-sign with their current clubs before they can officially hit the open market. That deadline will be preceded by a legal tampering window which allows for other CFL clubs to make official offers to players.

Under the terms of the new collective bargaining agreement, players who sign a multi-year extension with their original team will have the ability to get up to 50 percent of the final year of their contract guaranteed. Quarterbacks Jake Maier of the Stampeders and Taylor Cornelius of the Elks were the first to capitalize on this rule change last season.
