Montreal Alouettes’ receiver Tyson Philpot has been named the Most Valuable Canadian in the 110th Grey Cup.
The second-year receiver made six catches for 63 yards and one touchdown, which served as the game-winning score with 13 seconds remaining. The performance helped his team beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton by a score of 28-24.

The 23-year-old was a first-round pick in the 2022 CFL Draft out of the University of Calgary. He made 47 receptions for 532 yards and five touchdowns over 13 games this season.
