Toronto Argonauts’ offensive lineman Dejon Allen has been named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman for the 2023 CFL season, winning the vote by a margin of 39 to 22 over Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ offensive lineman Jermarcus Hardrick.
The 29-year-old CFL all-star started 16 games for the Argos at right tackle, surrendering just 11 pressures and two sacks according to ProFootballFocus. The Argonauts allowed a league-low 19 sacks, including eight full-game clean sheets. The Toronto offensive line also paved the way for a 1,000-yard season from running back A.J. Ouellette, resulting in 7.3 yards per play and 591 total offensive points.
The product of the University of Hawaii first joined the Argonauts in 2021, earning East Division all-star honours in each of the past two seasons.
Voting was conducted by 61 national members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC).
