The B.C. Lions were eliminated from the postseason in the Western Final for a second consecutive year on Saturday night, losing 24-13 to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
B.C. has built itself into a contender thanks to a prolific passing attack during Rick Campbell’s tenure as head coach but hasn’t been able to get over the hump in Manitoba in either of the last two seasons. The organization will face serious philosophical questions this offseason regarding the balance of their roster construction, with the pressure of a home Grey Cup looming in 2024.
This is the sixth installment in a series of articles from 3DownNation outlining the pending free agents from each CFL team. We have already covered the Edmonton Elks, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Ottawa Redblacks, Calgary Stampeders, and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
