We’ve reached the two-game Division Finals slate of the Canadian Football League season, and below are our predictions for both contests.

The Argonauts and Blue Bombers will enjoy rest advantages in their respective games, which should come in handy against their talented opponents. We’ll break down what the best betting spots for each game might be.
Saturday, Nov. 11: Montreal Alouettes at Toronto Argonauts – 3:00 p.m. EDT
The Alouettes put together a reasonably solid performance in the Eastern Semi-Final against the Tiger-Cats, leading to a 27-12 victory.
Yet, it wouldn’t be out of the question to say that result is largely irrelevant when evaluating Montreal’s prospects for this matchup. The defending champion Argonauts are naturally a major step up in competition, and most of their key players come in with what might be the ideal amount of non-rust-inducing rest over the last several weeks.
Toronto swept the three-game 2023 regular-season series with Montreal, notching victories of eight, 29, and three points. Chad Kelly particularly enjoyed success in those contests, averaging 301.3 passing yards per game and generating a 4:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio while also posting two rushing scores.
Montreal was a solid but not elite defensive squad this season, particularly against the run, where the Als surrendered a co-CFL-high 5.7 yards per carry. That vulnerability should give Toronto plenty of opportunity to run a balanced attack that will result in another Grey Cup berth.

Saturday, Nov. 11: B.C. Lions at Winnipeg Blue Bombers – 6:30 p.m. EDT
The Lions looked highly impressive after a slow start against the Stampeders in the Western Semi-Final, storming back for a 40-31 win that wasn’t even as close as the final score would imply.
Vernon Adams was in M.O.P form while racking up five total touchdowns and throwing for 413 yards. However, much like the Alouettes, the Lions get a major step up in competition in this Finals clash.
B.C. did record a noteworthy 30-6 win over the Bombers in the first meeting between the teams this season, a game in which Zach Collaros took an uncharacteristic seven sacks. However, that was back in Week 3 amid an uneven start to the season for Winnipeg.
The Bombers got their revenge with a 50-14 walloping of B.C. in Week 9, but Adams missed that contest. When the two teams met for the final time this regular season in Week 18 with the West Division essentially on the line and both quarterbacks healthy, Winnipeg notched an impressive 34-26 road win during which Collaros threw for 389 yards and Adams took six sacks.
This should be quite the battle between the two rivals, and with so many talented offensive players on either side, the points should pile up even with a pair of quality defences on the field.
However, I see the Bombers having enough to squeeze out a close victory and getting back to the Grey Cup thanks to having a more balanced offensive attack courtesy of Brady Oliveira’s presence.
The Over is my main pick, but a same-game parlay that banks on a Winnipeg win and another strong showing from Collaros is a great way to nab an appealing price.
The Pick: Over 50.5 points (-110 or better)
The Lean: Blue Bombers moneyline and Zach Collaros Over 276.5 passing yards (+169 or better)
