The Montreal Alouettes will be without their top offensive lineman when they take the field for the East Semi-Final on Saturday.

Left guard Pier-Olivier Lestage (knee) has been placed on the one-game injured list and will not be available against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The 26-year-old was originally selected with the tenth overall pick in the 2021 CFL Draft and joined the team last season after a stint with the Seattle Seahawks. He has started 17 games this year, earning the team’s nomination for Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman.

Veteran Philippe Gagnon will get the start in Lestage’s place, while Sean Jamieson returns off the six-game injured list to provide insurance.

Joining Lestage on the injured list is Canadian linebacker and special teamer Tyrell Richards (thigh). Defensive linemen T.D. Moultry and Israel Antwine will both be healthy scratches.

Canadian receiver Jake Harty will return to the starting lineup after recovering from a knee injury, bumping rookie Shedler Fervius into a backup role. Defensive end Avery Ellis (torso) and defensive tackle Almondo Sewell (elbow) will also resume their usual duties after resting last week.

The Alouettes (11-7) will host the Ticats (8-10) on Saturday, November 4 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. Montreal swept the three-game series between the two clubs in the regular season.
